We teach small classes of students to support their academic goals. Some classes are based on extra-curricular material, designed to obtain placement into OC and Selective Schools. Others are designed to advance learning beyond their peer group.

Changes to the OC and Selective Test for 2027 entryAs of 2025, the Department of Education has announced two major changes to OC and Selective: 1) Gender parity model 2) Additional question-type in the Reading section
Opportunity Classes (O.C.) - A beginner's guideO.C. provides an academically enriched environment for students in year 5 and 6. In an Opportunity Class, students read more advanced books, complete more complex projects and will be surrounded by more avid learners than a mainstream class. The placement test is taken in year 4 each year in May.
Selective High Schools - What you need to knowSelective High Schools are designed to group high-achieving students from year 7 - 12. They are taught in specialised ways and provided more academic opportunities to succeed than mainstream schools. The placement test is taken in year 6 each year in May.
